He doesn't want her to make similar mistakes, though. Especially not if Armada is putting pressure on her about it. She's both his friend, and his squadmate now. From both perspectives, he should try to help her.

It might take time. If it does, that's all right. When you lose someone they still stay with you, inside. You can't just make yourself not think about them. I don't even think you should try, I think...

I think you should think about him. And think about what he would want for you, if he were here now. Then you do it, or you try to do it. To honour him. Because that's the part that's left to you, when the rest is gone.
